Some of my close friends and family knows how straightforward my youngest daughter is. Both my brothers get the constant remarks from LA such as : Why do you keep coming to my house? (this is to my brother yang only comes back to m’sia, once a year). My second brother who is staying in S’pore also get things like : Don’t come here, your daughter doesn’t want to go back with you anymore (this is when my bro comes by to pick her daughter up). She tells her daddy things like: Mummy’s brother is at our house for a very2 long time. And I get report like: Your father does this and that and blablabla and your mother is a naughty lady . The innocent cat passing in front of the house will get things like : Hey Loser!

But today was a different case, I wanted to dress her up after her bath and as usual she will be running around.

MITC: LA, stop running around. Let’s put on your nighties.

LA: No mummy.

MITC: Hurry up baby

LA: (Still running around ignoring my calls.)

MITC: If you don’t stop running, I’ll spank you. (konon nak threatenlah, tapi tak pernah jadi)

LA: (with an annoyed look on her face) WHAT! You want a piece of me HUH? You want a piece of me?

MITC: Amboiii….(nak gelak ke atau nak marah…still confused)

LP: Mummy, adik got that from Aaron Stone.

LA: (Happy with my reaction..kept on running thinking that whatever she said must have stop me from nagging her. )

Ni baru 4 tahun, wait till she is 14.

Spoillah Maxis Nie.

As I mentioned in earlier post, DITC’s birthday is next month. So, during the Girlz Day Out I went to Maxis Centre to get him his present. They said I’m going to get it in 1 month’s time, so I figure it would be around the 2^nd week of Sept, just nice to surprise him. Tetapi Tipah Tertipu, Maxis send out a message like this: Your iPhone 3GS is ready for pickup…. to DITC’s number. Arghhhhhhh……surpriseku tak menjadi. Cehhhhhhh……..DITC dah gelak terbahak-bahak when he got the sms.

Anyway, untuk nak cover malu I told him that I want to go with him this weekend to pick up the phone instead I heret kawan2ku shida n lisa to KLCC during lunch time yesterday to get the phone. Thanks guys!!!, Muah!!Muah!! (walaupun GM ada ugut nak tolak markah employee of the month kita tiga2.)

Sebenarnya, its not really important what you give as a present tetapi how you give it is the most important element. Hehehe…..it worked! (mana boleh cerita camner he got it) He was surprise and sungguh gembira to get it. Can’t show his smiling face coz buruk benor…Hehehe.

Love, Work and Everything in Between

I love this book!! Its a compilation of short article written by Xandria Ooi. I’m not going to tell you who she is because I myself was not familiar with her until my dear friend Lisa gave the book as a present.  She is not only beautiful but I could feel that she is a very witty, smart and a sensible lady.  You can feel it in her writing, the word she uses and the things she writes about. Anyway, it was a good read. This is the second local book that I like after Confession of an old Boy by Kam Raslan.

MITC: Oh really..why?

LA: Because you so plumpy.

MITC: Plumpy? ( while trying very hard to think whether she was mixed up with the word plum + comfy = plumpy)

MITC: Its comfy dear.

LA: Oh..sorry mummy. You so comfy mummy.

THE DATE…fast forward.

DITC and I will be celebrating our 10th year anniversary this coming 090909. It is a blessing for us because it falls in the month of Ramadhan and we want to take the opportunity during the holy month to praise and worship Allah for all his blessings.

Anyway, we also wanted to spend sometime together tapi tak sanggup berjauhan with the kids. So a day out will do for us and we plan to do it today. Our day started as any normal working day but instead of driving me to the office, DITC drove to our “MITC & DITC Day Out Destination”. 

Its 25 minutes from home and we started the day with a very simple breakfast,  Cappucino with Hot Dog (extra mustard and sweet relish pleaze)

Then off we went window shopping before settling down to watch a movie. It was GI Joe. It was so funny cause DITC was the only one arm with popcorn and was enjoying it loudly while the other couples was so quiet (There were only 6 couples in the cinema). By the way why is the movie ticket so cheap? Dah lama tak tengok wayang during the weekdays.

After the movies, we came across this looney japanese machine that could take our photos.  So, seperti anak2 kecil we tried it out. The print out was quite good. And also there was this photo of a ” Decepticon” in the making.

We then proceed to have a late lunch, DITC’s choice. We had hot buns, wild mushroom soup and salad for starters, ribs as main and apple crumble for dessert. Hmmm….yummy.

After lunch we headed back home but not before stopping by at Mothercare and Girls to get something for the kids. Dating, dating jugak tapi mummy’s shoppping urge need to be catered too. Thanks DITC for the date, love ya.

Girlz Day Out

We’ve been wanting to do this for ages and we finally managed to find the right day to do it. Mbong, Lisa and Me applied for leave last friday so that we can shop till we drop. I was the worst. I was at KLCC from 8.30 till 4. Itupun sebab nak solat kat rumah. Kalau solat kat KLCC mau sampai malam tak balik2 lagi.

The other two girlz came later after I’ve burned thousand of ringgit just for the morning session. After the heavy morning session shopping at Isetan we send our stuff back to Lisa’s car before going back upstairs to have lunch at Chilli’s. I was having this urge to eat the old Timer but when we saw the ribs..mmmm just can’t stand the tempatation. We also took the Fajitas combo.

Malam balik rumah kaki sakit tapi tak berani complain kat DITC , but its all worth it. I got some worth buys at Isetan for LP and also myself. Selalunya tak sempat to get anything for myself tapi this time around Lisa and me managed to really look around for worth buys.

Sesiapa yang terlepas Isetan member sale memang rugi. There is always something that you get there that is worth your money and sometimes cheaper than hypermarkets like Tesco, Carrefour or even Jusco. Anyway, I always believe in smart shopping.

My Birthday Again.

I’m getting old again last two week but its been a great aging week for me. I got many greetings from friends and I really want to tell you guys how much I appreciate the calls, smses and the gifts.

I just can’t thank DITC enough for all the plans that he made for me and both my beautiful princesses who gave their daddy all the extra hands to make sure that I got my surprises. Muah..muah..muah

My first birthday present from DITC is a trip to Awana Kijal. I’ve never been there and for the first time in 10 years, we are actually driving to the east coast and it was fun.

I never thought that i’ll be getting another laptop again for my birthday but this time it was special because it was PINK. So LP got my old laptop and I get to carry this around more often hoping that I get to blog more. Check out the bag that goes with it. Hehehe…I LOVE IT…I JUST LOVE IT…

 The most interesting present is this book titled “Muhammad bercerita mengenai dirinya”. It’s a collection of hadith from our Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) about himself. I challenged DITC to get the book for my birthday if he could ever find it and he finally did.

I’ve been eyeing a silly slippers from scholl. I pointed it to DITC and he said that its too damn expensive for a pair of slipper, he would buy it if it was a nice pair of sandals or something like that. (ya kawan2, sometimes i do crave for the craziest things) tetapi as I was going into the car to go to our usual Sunday breakfast hangout …there it was…nicely arranged at the foot place on the front passenger seat. Yeehoooo….

I love all the gifts that I got from him but what I love most is how I got them. DITC is full of surprises and I have only about 1 month left before it is his birthday and our 10th year anniversary. Time to panic!!!!
