LA 2010 Concert

It was the yearly concert for LA. She was so excited about it the whole of last week. I knew some of the steps that she had to do but when I saw the finale…OMG!! When her grandma ask her, who is that boy you were hugging and she said ” Grandma…its just a dance.” but I saw the ‘bersalah’ look on her face. Hehehe…that cheeky girl.

Cheque Forgery?

Nah…nothing like that at all. It was just an act of art. If only she had some paper to draw that cute bat? When I saw my cheque book on the  yellow chair and there was a pen next to it my heart was already racing. How many pages did I lost? Thank goodness it was only a single page.

Are You Angry?

Being in an ICT company, we are always faced with difficult situation or people.

I am one of the few people who is very vocal and I will be upright front with the people who annoys me because I hate the feeling of being annoyed with somebody as it will usually cause a person to be moody.

I hate being moody and I try so very hard to stay away from moodiness because it can really affect your professional and personal aura. You will ignore people, you will talk to good friend as if they are you worst enemy and at the end of it, you will lose respect from credible people and lose friendship that is hard to come by nowadays. AND THAT IS PURE ARROGANCE!!!

Therefore I get angry instead of being moody. No matter how hard I tried to control my cool, I’ll end up being very angry. But then I realize that being angry though occasionally is WORST!!! ANOTHER LEVEL OF ARROGANCE!!

“Those who spend in prosperity and in adversity, who repress anger and who pardon men; verily, Allah loves the good-doers.” (Surah ‘Ali-Imraan 3:134)

Abu Huraira reported: I heard Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: One is not strong because of one’s wrestling skillfully. They said: Allah’s Messenger, then who is strong? He said: He who controls his anger when he is in a fit of rage.

Therefore I am trying VERY HARD NOW to practice patience through zikrullah and I hope and would like to tell myself this all the time:

NOBODY OR NOTHING IN THIS WORLD IS WORTH GETTING ANGRY ABOUT!!! (anger will only make me/ or you to be further away from ..Eternal Paradise.)

Sydney Carton

My last post was the 200th entry I did since I had this blog and this is the 201th entry. Pretty amazing huh. I am supposed to start on a new technical literature today and while browsing through some material I found A Tale Of Two Cities Ebook stashed in one of my work folder. Irony isn’t it.

I fell in love with Sydney Carton 21 years ago and I guess he resembled much of Dr. Gregory House. Sydney Carton is an englismen potrayed as a shrewd young barrister who is a drunkard. He saves a man whom he hated because of his dying love of a woman. He hated the man because he sees him as everything he should be but isn’t.

After blurting out his love confession and how he felt that he is unworthy of Miss Manette love , he made a promise to the woman “O Miss Manette, when the little picture of a happy father’s face looks up in yours, when you see your own bright beauty springing up anew at your feet, think now and then that there is a man who would give his life, to keep a life you love beside you!” This happened in Book2 Chapter 13.

Damn romantic guylah and when he finally trade places with Miss Manette’s husband who is about to be beheaded, he said this “If you remember the words that passed between us, long ago, you will readily comprehend this when you see it. You do remember them, I know. It is not in your nature to forget them. I am thankful that the time has come, when I can prove them. That I do so is no subject for regret or grief. If it had been otherwise, I never should have used the longer opportunity. If it had been otherwise”

And the novel end with what would be Sydney Carton’s last words “It is a far, far better thing that I do, than I have ever done; it is a far, far better rest that I go to than I have ever known.”

BRILLIANT…SIMPLY BRILLIANT…..I think the best young man that will be able to play the role of Sydney Carton is the definitely Robert Pattinson.

Random Thoughts.

Its been awhile since I wrote about the kids. I’ven been so hands on with them and with all the workloads and I just didn’t have the time. But anyway, I just needed some time off to write something other then techy stuff.

Let’s start with  the Hari Raya Celebration. As usual we were celebrating raya in KL but this time around my brother from UAE was around to join us. My other brother came a week after as to avoid the jam. we didn’t go raya much this time around as I was tired and to just laze around the house but instead became the official Tukang Cuci Pinggan. I’m so glad that DITC and all the other kids pitch in to do other chores. Punyalah busy basuh pinggan sampai tak sempat ambil gambar raya. Here are some of the bits and pieces of Hari Raya Photos that I have with me.

Next item on the list is “Magika” the latest musical by KRU Studios. During one of the Raya weekend, I brought the kids to watch it al maklumlah TGV sekarang dah dekat kalau boleh every week nak tengok movie. Very fresh for the Malay Movie Scene and I like it. Its light and simple and I can enjoy eating the Large popcorn without second thoughts and i like the witty musical arrangements. Salute to Mr Edry for something new and I look forward to Magika 2 , Magika 3 and etc….
